Happy New Year, Vermont!
Heading up to Vermont in the wee, small hours of morning. Expecting it to be cold. Hopefully, we will come away with a bar service, a better handle on catering, some restaurant choices for the rehearsal dinner and bar choices for a social evening for the Friday night guests. Five excellent pairings of Vermont cheeses and...
By Karen Shimizu Source: Saveur Magazine Photo: Karen Shimizu Vermont’s long tradition of blue-ribbon cheese making has been matched in recent decades by an effervescent craft- beer-brewing scene. Wedding Registry - November 27, 2009 Got the registries online this afternoon. We spent two evenings in stores and another evening editing and adding information. I am proud of the thousands of Mainers who knocked on doors, made phone calls and talked to their family, friends and neighbors about the basic premise of treating all Maine families equally. Wednesday - October 28 DENTIST / DAVIS SQUARE / WEBSITE Spent the day in Boston helping prepare a store for a going out of business sale. For 43 years it was an independent housewares company but the retail market is so saturated that larger corporations have won (this time). Came home to relax and swore I wouldn’t do anything for the wedding but….. I worked some more on the wedding...
